The Lionfish is a genus of poisonous marine fish that lives in coral reefs. They pose a danger to humans.
They live in areas close to the shore and at depths of 50 meters. It is defined as an invasive species in Mediterranean countries and hunting is encouraged.
The Lahoz/Grida fish is a very predatory, carnivorous fish that lives in rocky, stony or gravel areas at a depth of 20-200 m. It feeds on all kinds of large and small crustaceans, invertebrates and small fish. It breeds between May and June. The meat of the Mediterranean is one of the most delicious and famous fish.
The Octopus is among the most intelligent and behaviorally diverse animals among the invertebrates. Self-protection strategies include; squirting ink, use of camouflage and threatening behavior are very common in water. It is noted for its fast movement and hiding abilities.
Haliclona oculata, also known as mermaid glove, is found at depths from 4 meters to approximately 1,000 meters and is a type of sea sponge.
